How to get VLANID on a remote VM

May 7, 2010 at 11:18 AM

I use the following commands:

$VM = get-vm -server "HOST_NAME"   "VM_NAME"

$NIC = get-VMNIC $VM

If HOST_NAME is the HYperV server I send this command from, I get the VLAN ID of the VM NICs

If HOST_NAME is a remote Hyper-V server, VLANID is blank ?

Any idea or workaround ? SCVMM ?

Thanls in advance
