Missing hyperv.ps1?

Feb 11, 2011 at 3:38 PM

I guess being a newbie to Powershell shows, because I can't find the hyperv.ps1 file in the Zip archive.  There IS a hyperv.psd1 file, but it won't load the commands.  How do I get the commands to load into Powershell?

Set PowerShell's execution policy , ideally to remote-signed  using the command  Set-executionPolicy  RemoteSigned

Unblock the zip file from file, properties in Explorer. .

Unzip the to . c:\users\yourID\documents\windowsPowershell\modules\HyperV

(if you want to put it in another folder change the system environment variable PSModulePath)

Issue the command

Import-Module HyperV

When you want to use it.
