Powershell Library R2 SP1 Not Installing

Jul 27, 2011 at 11:11 PM

I am running Hyper-V 2008 R2, I think fully patched, I had an Internet connection for a limited period earlier today and ran the updates. The final run said there were no updates available although I saw no sign of SP1 being installed and can find no way of checking. I was able to see the VMs in Hyper-V Manager for a short while but the dynamic Memory option was greyed out. Is SP1 available with the free version?

The network card for the host has disappeared without even a puff of smoke and I can find no way of retrieving it. Your new PowerShell Library seemed to be the answer but I have tried at least five times to download and install it and all I get is something that looks like the old one. I have unblocked the zip file and as far as I can tell followed he correct install process. I have tried running the ~-VMNIC commands from the PowerShell interface but just get error messages.

Can anyone help me please?
