I'm trying to utilize this Hyper-V module on our 2008R2 machine. It appears I have it imported and running, the only problem is I'm trying to use the command "Checkpoint-VM" in a script I'm trying to use to get daily snapshots of VMs created. The script is outputting this error:
checkpoint-vm : The term 'checkpoint-vm' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At C:\Scripts\VMCheckpointdailyjob.ps1:1 char:18
+ Get-VM SVRVM* | checkpoint-vm -SnapshotName "Daily Snapshot $((Get-Date).toshor ...
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (checkpoint-vm:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
It this just something missing in this module, or is it something I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
